4 Month Well-Baby and Solid Foods!

Yesterday we went in for Piper's 4 month appointment and she's getting bigger!!
She's 25 1/4 inches long - 75 % - Last time she was 55%... so that's a jump.
She's 15 lbs. 7 oz. - 85% - Same % as last time.
Her head is 16 1/2 inches around - 75% - Last time she was 65%.
So she's a sproutin'! All in all, pretty proportionate. So I'm not complaining.

Since she was 2 months old she's been sleeping through the night. Mostly 11 hour stretches occasionally waking up once around 7ish. Not a bad thing. However, lately she's started getting up more and earlier throughout the night. That combined with her sudden increase in feeding means... solid foods! Dun, dun, dun!

Last night was both her first time in the high chair and her first time with rice cereal.

One of her first bites.
Not completely sure about this...

And she loved it! I actually wasn't that surprised, considering her chunkiness. She ate almost the entire bowl.

What did surprise me, however, is that she did not sleep better AT ALL! She went down at 11, then was up 3 times before 5, and then slept 'til about 9:30. The issue was after about 6, I couldn't sleep anymore. Lame. Oh well.

Piper has also discovered that she can scream for fun. She practices often, and tries to match or beat out her previous pitch. It's loud and squeaky. Sometimes she tries to go so high that she doesn't even make any noise. It's pretty funny.
